Sunrise and Banat-i Hill

I took these pictures years ago when digital camera was unheard of...by non-techies like me. I was using one of the Canon Rebel series. Trying to use it for the first time, I chanced on a particularly beautiful, foggy morning and eagerly took these pictures.

Sunset at Tagbilaran Bay

The K of C (Knight of Columbus) promenade is a favorite spot to watch beautiful sunsets. From there, you get to view the seascape without distractions being far enough from the noise of traffic and city sounds. You can see the pier, the causeway, a part of coastal Dauis and its resorts and on clear days, part of Cebu.

Although I haven't been there for months now, it's not because I think the place doesn't thrill me anymore like the way it did when I was young and carefree. It still does. And the sunsets are as beautiful as ever.

Every time I go home to my old town, it's only then that I realize how I sorely miss it...
